The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Lisa Wilkinson, 61, is joined by her lookalike daughter Billi, 24, and doting husband Peter FitzSimons at her book launch luncheon
Her controversial new autobiography It Wasn’t Meant To Be Like This has made headlines over the past couple of weeks.
And on Tuesday, Lisa Wilkinson was supported by her family as she signed copies of her book at a launch luncheon held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney.
The 61-year-old posed up for photos with her husband, journalist Peter FitzSimons, and her lookalike daughter Billi, 24.

The Project host opted for a chic long-sleeve floral dress for her big day.
Meanwhile, young political journalist Billi dressed for the special occasion in a khaki green blazer with a white top.
Meanwhile Peter towered behind them, dressed all in black.
Lisa signed copies of her book and chatted to attendees who paid $110 for a ticket to the luncheon hosted by bookstore Dymocks.

Just like mum… and dad: Billi followed in her parents’ journalistic footsteps and is a political reporter. She is Lisa and Peter’s youngest child
In addition to youngest child Billi, Lisa and Peter are doting parents to two sons Jake, 28, and Louis, 26.
Lisa’s new autobiography documents the TV host’s life and media career, including a chapter dedicated to her sacking from Channel Nine and falling out with Karl Stefanovic over a pay dispute.
While her autobiography has sparked controversy, it seems the avalanche of negative press has paid off in spades, as her book is reportedly flying off the shelves.

According to The Daily Telegraph’s Annette Sharp, Wilkinson’s publishers Harper Collins ordered a 10,000 reprint of the autobiography last week due to high sales.
‘No doubt fanned by phenomenal media interest in the book, more than 4200 copies of the book sold in its first week to market,’ Sharp claimed on Sunday.
Sales have been so impressive, that Harper Collins has also reportedly bumped up Wilkinson’s tome to the top of the autobiography release list.
