She wrote: ‘I’ve been dealing with blocked milk ducts, lumps and possibly the start of mastitis. I wanted to share below the advise for anyone else who is exclusively breast pumping.

‘Making big changes at once to the pumping regime such as increasing the length of times spent pumping, reducing or increasing pump settings or spacing out or decreasing time between pumps can all impact on milk supply.

‘Typically changes that reduce supply can put you at risk of blocked ducts and mastitis This is the advice I would give for exclusive pumping mums, both to help with supply and reduce risk of blocked ducts.

‘Choose a double pump which is strong and works for you. Usually a hospital grade pump is best. Use hands on pumping techniques such as massaging breasts before and massaging and compressing breasts during.

‘A warm compress or water bottle on the breast before pumping can also help If you get blocked ducts here are some tips to resolve them. Cold compress between pumping and warm compress on blockage just before pumping.

‘Hot shower with electric toothbrush or vibrating massager on blockage. Try pumping on all fours with the breast dangling into the pump Ibruprofen Immerse breast in warm water with epsom salts (can do this in the bath) If you have fever or cold and flu symptoms alongside the blocked ducts then you may have an infection and it is important to seek medical advice from your GP.

‘My routine currently: Warm compress on Low setting pump then to high setting for my first “let down” then back to low setting then back to a high setting for second “let down” for around 20-25 Mins making 4oz per bottle on a double pump.

‘Then cold compress on for 15 mins. Sleeping with no bra. Pumping every 3/3.5 hours in the day and 4 hours at night ❤️ Taking 2 capsules one in morning one in evening of sunflower lecithin.

The star begged her followers for advice as she is in so much pain but still wants to feed her one-month-old baby.

WHAT IS MASTITIS?

According to the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Mastitis can occur when a milk duct in the breast becomes blocked.

This leads to milk banking up and the surrounding tissue becoming inflamed, with initial signs including flu-like symptoms, aches and sore breasts with red marks.

Treatment of antibiotics and plenty of rest is recommended as soon as the illness is detected.

Lauryn penned in a lengthy caption: ‘I wanted to do this post because as you guys know from my stories i am suffering right now! ✨ You guys have sent me so much advice on DM but I’m struggling to read them all!

‘There’s so many women that are in the same situation as me so please can you write down your advice in the comments below! Anything from what you did, to how long it took …. literally EVERYTHING. ✨

‘I suffered with a hard lump in my right boob the other day. Your advice got rid of the lump. I put a warm compress on it , pumped through it and massaged it!

‘The lump then went… last night in the middle of the night a huge lump appeared at the top of the other breast. It was so sore and red on my skin.’

Lauryn then listed the things she has done to try and ease the pain, including a hot bath, massages, hand express and even frozen savoy cabbage leaves.

She added: ‘Please can you tell me what you guys did? Honestly I’m in so much pain and I don’t want to stop feeding. I’ve called the doctors worried it will turn nasty. I can’t lift my arm up! Dr still haven’t called me back. Called them twice!’

Lauryn signed off her post with: ‘✨ Can’t believe we go through labour and then we can go through this amount of pain all to feed our baby ❤️❤️❤️.’

It comes after Lauryn revealed she had no idea she was in labour with her baby because having endometriosis meant she was already so used to regular pain.

The media personality, who is an advocate for raising awareness about the womb condition, took to Instagram to gush over her one-month old, telling of her experience giving birth.

Alongside a sweet snap of her cradling the tot, Lauryn wrote: ‘I couldn’t love anything more if I tried. The faces you pull & the smiles you make melt my heart. You are showing me your little personality and you are so amazing already. ✨

‘We have gotten to know each other better over the weeks which has made things slightly easier. At first it was trial and error but now we’ve figured it out a bit more. ✨

‘You make me a better person every day. You are just so innocently cute and I can’t believe you’re mine. My Ickle bestie. Feels like yesterday my contractions started and I was closer to meeting you. ✨’

She went on: ‘For anyone that has endometriosis and is pregnant. Honestly the fact you feel those pains month in month out when you have a period, made my contractions easier to deal with. I didn’t feel any of my early contractions at all, I didn’t even know I was in early labour or active labour.

‘I started to feel them when I was 6cm dilated. I thought I was going to go into hospital with contractions and they would send me home but it didn’t quite go like that – I was shocked when they said ‘6cm & loads of wet black curly hair, off to labour ward’.

Expressing her thoughts on social media, the star insisted that every baby’s needs were different as she stated it is ‘easy to sit & criticise’.

In a lengthy post, she shared her own feeding experiences as she wrote: ‘I think it’s really important for mothers to find their own way. It’s easy to sit & criticise, it’s easy to tell someone your way is best & to force your opinion.

‘In reality everyone is different & every mother finds their own way. What might work for you might not work for them.’

She continued: ‘I say this as I constantly get the just stick the [baby] on the boob Or I don’t get why you #pump so much. I don’t pump ‘so much’ I pump in line with how much my baby feeds.

‘I had a bad experience in hospital & to be totally honest with you I had pure anxiety over how much milk my baby was getting.

‘No I don’t want to hear your baby takes what it needs etc because my baby wasn’t. This has been the whole battle. My baby was born with #jaundice & was dehydrated(which I know can be common I’m not saying I’m the first or last).’

Continuing to share her own journey, she added: ‘Every [baby] is born with too many red blood cells it’s whether they can get rid of the red blood cells alone. We didn’t know until I got home & the [baby] wasn’t feeding at all.

‘Imagine getting home & the one person your [baby] is relying on is YOU & you can’t get them to feed. I had pure anxiety I cried every time. We then had to go for tests & that’s when they said, “Your baby needs a lot of milk to fight it & blue light therapy.

“We can either take the baby to the special care unit & feed through a tube or you can feed constantly for 3 days straight.”

‘I didn’t want the tube for my [baby] so for 2 nights I had NO sleep & was #breastfeeding my baby every hour for up to an hour, then pumping to get the supply ready for home & then feeding a bottle of formula.

‘That’s how much my baby needed to fight it as well as being on the blue light therapy bed.’

Discussing the impact on her, she said: ‘It was a lot on me physically & emotionally. I was alone in hospital due to the #pandemic. My [baby] sucked it’s tongue & so wouldn’t latch or take the bottle initially & had to be taught.
