In the caption to that clip, Lauren wrote, ‘Went to ER at 9pm thinking Dutton had an ear infection.
’14 hours later we are home and resting but basically he has a common virus (basically a cold) and ear infection but with baby so small and under 28 days old they worry about meningitis and do a full work up/spinal tap,’ she continued.
‘Thankfully we just have to give him meds and keep an eye and pray it doesn’t turn respiratory or get any secondary infections.’

Chris and Lauren began their relationship back in 2018, two years after her Bachelor season aired.
At the time, the flight attendant emerged triumphant and got engaged to star Ben Higgins, and the two appeared together on the spin-off reality series Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, which aired on Freeform.
However, the two announced their separation in the summer of 2017.
Chris and Lauren were later engaged in the summer of 2019 and tied the knot in October.
In December of last year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child.

Shortly after baby Dutton was born, Chris shared with People that his son inspired him to write a new song.
‘I’ve been waiting to meet Dutton for nine months now, and the easiest way for me personally to describe my feelings and emotions is to write about it! So naturally, I wrote a song,’ he shared. ‘It’s called Ain’t Even Met You Yet and sums up how I’ve been feeling over the last few months. I can’t wait to share it with him one day.’
The singer also joked that he was shocked how big his son ended up being.
‘Everyone in the room, including Lauren and me, were shocked we had a nine-pound baby! Not sure where he was hiding in her belly?!’ he joked.
‘Watching Lauren go through the birthing process — from the beginning to the moment she delivered — was the most incredible thing I’ve ever witnessed. I experienced an emotion I’ve never felt before,’ he added more seriously.
