One royal commentator has suggested the Queen will seek comfort in her family as she marks tomorrow’s anniversary.
Reflecting on the Queen’s extraordinary reign and how she may acknowledge 69 years since her coronation, commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “This anniversary will also be sad one this year.
“The Queen will undoubtedly much miss her ‘strength and stay’, Prince Philip, who played a significant part in the ceremony.”
He added: “She is certain to be in close touch with members of her family on this memorable date.”
