The young royal’s passion for the sport was ignited by her grandfather, Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh bequeathed his most recent carriage to his granddaughter in his will. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Lady Louise can be seen driving the carriage, accompanied by an aide.
She was dressed in a navy polo top and beige trousers and also wore a protective helmet.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex, accompanied her daughter, driving her own much smaller carriage.
Prince Philip commissioned and designed his carriage eight years ago, which can seat four people and harness up to eight horses.
Lady Louise often takes part in various competitions, as she seeks to hone her skills.
Last year, she secured third place in the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which this year takes place at the beginning of July.
She has received high praise for her carriage driving abilities from her mother.
In an virtual interview last May at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Countess of Wessex said: “She is naturally so good at it, she really is.

Speaking once at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, he said: “I started driving because I’d been playing polo and I decided I would give up polo when I was 50.
“I was looking around to see what next and what there was available.
“And I suddenly thought we’ve got horses and carriages so why don’t I have a go?”
