Kate, Princess of Wales, wished the England women’s rugby team good luck while wearing a red Zara blazer, paying tribute to her country in one of its main colours. Kate also pinned a tiny brooch in the shape of a rose to her blazer.
Kate is a fan of Zara blazers and so, it is unsurprising that she wore her favourite red jacket from the high street brand to wish the Red Roses good luck ahead of the World Cup.
The blazer is made of tweed and features big gold buttons.
Kate has worn it many times before – one of the most recent occasions being for a solo trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, back in February this year.
On this occasion, too, the Princess donned the piece to honour a country as it matched the red of the Danish flag.

Kate also has the Zara blazer in green, which she wore during a video filmed for St. Patrick’s Day 2021, with Prince William.
In it, the Princess matched the blazer with a dainty gold necklace featuring a tiny shamrock.
As for today’s video, Kate had pinned a tiny rose-shaped brooch to the left lapel of her blazer.
Other accessories included a pair of dangling gold earrings, which featured tiny leaves fluttering inside oval-shaped pendants.
Called the Flora Drop Earrings from Edinburgh-based brand Hamilton & Inche, the earrings quickly sold out after Kate wore them for her first official trip to Orkney in June 2021.
Consisting of citrine cut diamonds, mounted on an 18ct yellow gold post, the earrings cost a whopping £1,395.
Kate completed her look with a plain white t-shirt, seen underneath her blazer.
England Rugby posted the video of support on its Twitter page this morning, accompanied by the caption: “A special good luck message for the #RedRoses from our patron The Princess of Wales.”
Fans were impressed by the Princess’ message, and many praised her. Travis said: “Isn’t she the most wonderful patron to have? Lovely message from Kate and yes, good luck ladies and bring that trophy home.”
Sarah Delore wrore: “What a delightful surprise, and a lovely message from Catherine. Good luck, Red Roses.”
Louise commented: “The Princess of Wales always gives such beautiful messages. Good luck to our #RedRoses I will be asleep most likely when you’re playing, but I wish you all the luck in England!”
Michael Grant added: “A brilliant heart-warming and professional message beautifully delivered. Thank you.”
