Jojo speaks about becoming a brand ambassador for Rihanna's Savage X Fenty lingerie line

This year she became one of many famous faces to model Rihanna’s popular Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

And Jojo opened up about the excitement that comes with being a social media ambassador for the brand and finding body confidence at 29-years-old in an interview with TooFab on Friday.

‘You know, they saw my assets and they were like, “We got to have her in our lingerie,”‘ joked the Get Out singer, while explaining how she was chosen to represent Savage X Fenty.

For her remote interview, Jojo – born Joanna Noëlle Levesque – kept cozy in a hooded sweatshirt and a pair of pajama pants as she sat with her legs crossed on the floor. 

‘I can’t blame them. I mean, although I’m wearing this right now, I swear to god there’s something pretty exciting underneath here!,’ added the star.

Although she looked conservative for her chat with TooFab, Jojo has been flooding her Instagram page with sultry snapshot of her donning Rihanna’s on-trend lingerie.

‘I’ve never been like that, never been this comfortable in my skin, so it’s just good timing to be a Savage girl,’ she insisted.

Rihanna launched Savage X Fenty in 2018 and has since recruited a plethora of famous names, including Normani, Megan Thee Stallion, and Christina Milian, to tout the line on social media.

When asked about her feelings towards the 32-year-old singer-turned-mogul, Jojo admitted that she is ‘so inspired by Rihanna.’

‘She is … she’s amazing. I just can’t say enough about her,’ began the Baby It’s You songstress, who could hardly contain her admiration.

‘I will sound silly if I tried to speak about how much I respect her, but she’s just so incredibly excellent across the board, multifaceted.’

Savage X Fenty is considered to be a ‘groundbreaking’ lingerie line due to its vast size range, cutting edge styles/colors, and its economical price point.

Prior to being snagged as the brand’s latest Instagram model, Jojo admitted that she, initially, did not ‘really care’ about the appearance or fit of her undergarments. 

But once she was introduced to Savage X Fenty, she realized that she ‘was wearing the wrong bra size for a long time’ and finally ‘started to care about materials and how things would look under [her] clothes and all that.’ 

‘And what I love about Savage is the price point is so accessible … but it’s still hella sexy, good quality,’ concluded Jojo.
