Irina Shayk wears edgy 'thong jeans' from Mugler as she picks up daughter Lea from school in NYC

She has been known to take risks with her fashion. 

And Irina Shayk, 35, continued to prove that she was a leading style star as she stepped out in a pair of edgy ‘thong jeans’ designed by Mugler in NYC. 

The supermodel was seen putting on a very fashion forward display as she modeled the $531 black and white trousers while grabbing daughter Lea de Seine, four, from school.

 Irina’s black and white jeans were strategically designed by Casey Cadwallader to mimic a thong in the back using two-toned denim. 

And the Russian-born supermodel first modeled a pair for the fashion house’s Spring 2021 show a few months back. 

Cadwallader had spoken to Vogue about his racy, yet ready-to-wear vision: ‘It’s important to do the jaw-dropping scandalous stuff; that’s what this house is built on. But it’s also about trying to address an interesting day-to-day wardrobe too.’

She toted along a white shoulder bag with a thick chained strap and hid her face behind a black face mask and oval shaped sunglasses. 

The model owned the streets like a catwalk, before picking up the daughter she shares with ex Bradley Cooper.  

The blonde-haired tot looked very girly in a floral dress with a pink flower headband as she nibbled on ice cream while Irina pushed her stroller.

Both she and Cooper are very hands on parents, with Irina previously confessing that she doesn’t like the term ‘co-parenting,’ because both are just ‘parenting,’ their daughter.

The former couple were seen enjoying a joint-outing with Lea on Wednesday as they took her to the playground in Greenwich Village. 

But despite looking cozy as family, recently Irina has been the subject of romance rumors with Kanye West. 

A few tipsters flooded celebrity-gossip account DeuxMoi last week to say that she and the All Of The Lights singer were ‘dating,’ with the account creator saying that it was possible there was ‘some interest’ there.

The singer is famously in the midst of divorce from wife of seven years Kim Kardashian, and both he and Irina seemed to be upstate for Memorial Day Weekend. 

Irina shared a trio of sexy bikini photos from what looked to be a weekend escape from the city, and West was glimpsed by another DeuxMoi user at Blue Hill At Stone Barns in Tarrytown, NY that same weekend. 

Neither have confirmed any romance, but they have known each other for over a decade, as West tapped her to star in his Power music video and also had her walk in his runway show in 2012.
