Ian Blackford congratulated the England football team on their historic win in the last 16 of Euro 2020, during Prime Minister’s Questions. However, the SNP’s Westminster leader could not help but highlight the fact that England have won all their matches in the competition apart from their 0-0 draw with Scotland in their second game in Group D.
Mr Blackford said: “Can I congratulate England for their victory last night?
“Of course, I wish them all the best in the tournament ahead.
“They have done well, they have won most of their match with the exception of the game against Scotland where they failed to score a goal.
“No luck.”
