    According to experts from Sleep Advisor, keeping a fan on all night could dry out your skin, throat and eyes.

    Along with turning off electronics, the experts also recommend switching up your bedding and keeping curtains closed during the day when temperatures are at their peak.

    The McCarthy Stone expert explained: “Cotton should be your bedding material of choice during warmer nights.

    “More breathable than satin and silk, light-coloured cotton bedsheets are probably the coolest coverings you’ll find.”
