Home and Away heart-throb Christopher Egan looks worlds away from his days in Summer Bay as he shares a rare selfie on Instagram
He returned to Australia last year after chasing the Hollywood dream for 20 years.
And on Monday, actor Christopher Egan looked very different to his years playing rebellious teenager Nick Smith on Home and Away from 2000 to 2003.
Posting a rare selfie to Instagram, the 36-year-old looked almost unrecognisable as he rocked darker hair and more mature features.

Posing in front of a large lighting stripbox, Christopher proved he was still passionate about making films almost two decades after his rise to fame.
He set hearts fluttering during his time on the long-running Seven soap, before leaving Summer Bay behind to try his luck in Los Angeles.
The gamble paid off, as he was cast in a number of movies and TV shows.

Christopher appeared in several action-fantasy films, but his most memorable role was in the 2010 romantic comedy Letters to Juliet.
He starred alongside Vanessa Redgrave, Gael Garcia Bernal and Amanda Seyfried in film, about an aspiring writer who travels to Italy for a romantic adventure.
Despite having plenty of credits to his name, he didn’t quite reach the giddy career heights of fellow Home and Away alum Chris Hemsworth.

Since returning to Australia in January last year, Christopher has kept busy teaching drama at Australian primary schools.
He has also been using his social media platforms to promote the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Chris will soon return to screens in sci-fi series Interface.
