    Giggling Davina McCall appears enamoured with boyfriend Michael Douglas on romantic night out


    They have been dating since 2019.  

    And Davina McCall, 53, proved she is very much still enamoured with her boyfriend Michael Douglas, 47, during a night out at Claridge’s on Sunday.

    The happy couple were spotted giggling and chatting at the swanky location with Davina looking sensational in a plunging black top and blazer.

    Davina looked totally loved-up with Michael on the outing, as they chatted fondly between sharing jokes and uproarious laughter.  

    Davina began dating Michael after her divorce was finalised from her ex-husband Matthew Robertson in April 2018, having announced the split the previous year. 

    Shortly after her divorce, Michael was seen consoling his then-pal Davina with a hug in April 2018. Speaking to The Daily Mirror, Davina admitted that she was faking being happy following their marriage’s breakdown.

    She revealed: ‘There’s been a few occasions where I’m struggling to see any positives in this at all. Happiness is marvellous. I love it when I’m happy, but I’m not always happy…

    ‘It might look like I’m always happy because I quite often just show the bits when I’m happy. But I am often guilty of thinking, “No one really wants to see me when I’m unhappy”.’

    Michael has a long list of celebrity clients, including the likes of Holly Willoughby and Kate Moss. Davina and Michael have have been friends for more than two decades and are regularly seen together. 

    The night out came before Davina accepted the Best Lifestyle Show TV Choice Award for her show Long Lost Family in a pre-recorded VT that was filmed after she’d been in floods of tears.

    The presenter, who hosts the emotional, but uplifting series with Nicky Campbell, had filmed the acceptance speech from the edit suite.

    She told the camera: ‘I’m sorry I don’t look my best – I’ve just finished recording a voiceover for the show. And I’ve been crying my eyes out!’

    The series sees people hoping to be reunited with their relatives – often brought together in heart-wrenching scenes.

    Davina added: ‘Thank you so much to everybody that voted for us. We’re so thrilled!

    ‘This show means so much to all of us that make it. We want to thank our contributors for sharing their stories and their lives with us. It means so much to us also that it means so much to you.’

    Nicky added: ‘Long Lost Family is the most extraordinary thing to be involved with because it genuinely changes peoples’ lives. And apart from that, it’s changed all of our lives as well, being a part of it. Thank you so much for this amazing accolade.’

    The 2021 awards streamed online on Monday night, having to continue virtually amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
