    Pape Matar Sarr

A name Spurs fans perhaps didn’t expect to see on this list, Sarr is a regular with the Senegalese national team despite the fact he can’t get a look-in under Conte. The 20-year-old played the full match in central midfield in a 2-0 win over Bolivia on Saturday, earning enough credit to gain more valuable game time in the subsequent 1-1 draw with Iran.

Sarr’s hot streak means that he could be in line to feature regularly at the World Cup later this year with group games against the Netherlands, Qatar and Ecuador sure to attract attention. The youngster was sent on loan to Metz last season where he banked another 26 games of top-flight football, although the prospect of minutes against Arsenal still look slim.
