Osimhen reportedly won’t be the only striker Chelsea would have to battle United for, as Erik ten Hag’s side are also interested in signing Portuguese forward Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. The 22-year-old burst onto the scene at Benfica and was rewarded with a £113m transfer to Diego Simeone’s side, where he has had mixed success.
His sole goal in 15 club games this season came in the Copa del Rey, though at times he has been stifled by the Argentine coach’s defensive mindset, and a change of scenery perhaps to Stamford Bridge could benefit the young Portugal international.
