One fan wrote on social media: ‘Loving #Strictly a good natured gust of normality. Such an abundance of goodwill. Cheesy but so human’.

Another quipped: ‘We should put the Strictly production team in charge of test, track & trace and national Covid guidelines; they have it sorted. #Strictly.’

To combat the current restrictions of filming during the pandemic, every dancing duo have formed a household bubble so they can perform for the entire series.

Despite the universal excitement of seeing Strictly back on the television, some fans couldn’t help but mull over the absence of dancing aficionado, Bruno.

Due to travel restrictions, Bruno is currently stuck in Los Angeles where he judges the US show, Dancing With The Stars, however he is expected to appear on the final results show of Strictly via video link.
