    Delta Goodrem was dropped as a coach from The Voice after the show moved from Channel Nine to Channel Seven this year.

    And on Saturday, she revealed she holds no ill feelings about the show’s network change. 

    The 36-year-old told Stellar on Saturday: ‘I’m so incredibly grateful for the show.

    ‘I love it, and I’m always going to be cheering it on,’ she added.

    Delta was one of the original coaches the Australian version of the singing franchise and the longest serving, having been on the show over eight seasons.

    Aside from sharing high praise for The Voice, the ARIA Award winning singer revealed she is ready to get back on the road and go on tour following outbreaks of the Covid pandemic.

    ‘We’ve worked so hard on this show, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created,’ she said of her team, adding she is excited for their plans for the new year.

    This comes after Delta performed at the Global Citizen event last weekend in front of the iconic Sydney Opera House. 

    She was the only Australia performer to take part in the world wide event, and performed her songs including Lost Without You and Born To Try. 

    Global Citizen Live is a rolling seven-continent concert marathon featuring dozens of performers across the globe – from Ed Sheeran to Doja Cat.

    ‘We’ve been missing live music, especially here in Australia,’ Delta told AAP prior to her performance. 

    ‘The idea of having a 24-hour broadcast that’s all about a positive force for change – count me in!’ 

    Produced by international advocacy body Global Citizen, the event has been created for broadcast viewing on a myriad networks and platforms to call for action on vaccine equity, extreme poverty and climate change.

    The organisation’s global board members include senior executives from Cisco, Live Nation Entertainment, TED and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
