‘DP is officially in the MCU! He’s starting with reaction videos, then some social influencer work, onto Parks appearances all leading up to some after-credit work by 2030, Ryan wrote as a caption for his nearly 38 million followers on Instagram.

The Korg character played by Taika was previously seen in the Marvel films Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame.

The trailer reaction video opened with Deadpool self-recording on a couch and reminding viewers to subscribe and follow him on Patreon.

‘Last week you all really liked my Cruella trailer reaction video,’ Deadpool said referencing the Disney film as a Dalmatian sat beside him and actions scenes were shown.

‘Where are the f***ing dogs?!,’ Deadpool reacted to the Cruella trailer.

‘So, this week I will be reacting to a trailer for a movie, which I honestly thought came out like a year ago. Free Guy,’ Deadpool said.

‘Apparently it’s this August,’ he added.

Deadpool then introduced the week’s ‘guest reactor’ Korg after admitting that the Kronan warrior wasn’t his first choice.

‘Hello. I’m made of rocks. Thank you for having me, Paul, sorry you are dead,’ Korg said as he introduced himself.

They watched the trailer together and both gushed when English actress and co-star Jodie Comer, 28, first appeared in the trailer.

‘I hope they don’t fridge her,’ Deadpool remarked.

    ‘What’s fridging?,’ Korg asked.

‘Well, it’s the practice of killing off or hurting a female character in order to motivate or torture the main character. Also known as Deadpool 2. Thank you for asking,’ Deadpool explained.

Deadpool stopped the trailer as the film’s villain Antoine, played by Taika, was shown and asked Korg if he had any thoughts on him.

‘Uh, looks like he’s got four arms and the two lower ones have gloves on. I like him,’ Korg said.

Deadpool later pointed out that villain Antoine was played by ‘Taika Waititi’.

‘He seems quite nice actually,’ Korg said.

The trailer ended and Deadpool remarked ‘looks fun, in a last-days-of-Fox fire-sale kind of way’ before giving it a rating of four-out-of-five avocados.

‘I was raised by avocados,’ Korg quipped.

Deadpool then asked Korg if he had any tips for getting in the MCU.

‘Have a dream, chase it, lose that dream, just sabotage all sorts of happiness in pursuit of that dream, climb up to the peaks of that mountain and when you get to the top, land at the bottom and realize you’re never going to achieve that dream, and at that point check your emails. Maybe you’ll get something from your agents saying Marvel wants to talk,’ Korg said.

‘Yeah, I preferred Dark World,’ Deadpool answered referencing the 2013 Thor sequel.

Free Guy will be in theaters on August 13.

It was originally scheduled for release in July 2020, but it was pushed back three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
