Sue Cleaver is known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the hit ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Sue has played the hard-hearted and stubborn character for 22 years, but she is set to be written out of the show whilst she takes part in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The hit ITV series is returning to the Australian jungle this year after being in Wales for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, the celebrities have been arriving in Australia to prepare for weeks in the jungle, being fed rations and living with unwanted campmates such as spiders, rats and cockroaches.
The campmates will be away from their families for a number of weeks and Sue detailed the special occasions she would be missing during her stint.
She said: “Coronation Street and we are expecting another grandchild any day, so hopefully it will arrive before I fly out to Australia.”

Boyfriend George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and best friend Sean Tully (Anthony Cotton) rushed to her aid.
The pair’s shock was quickly shrouded with confusion as Eileen came around and appeared uncharacteristically calm.
Later, Eileen confided in George about her experience and explained she saw a glimpse of heaven and has felt peace and calm ever since.
Her son Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) told George he felt there was something wrong with his mother, but George insisted she was fine and was keeping an eye on her.
However, in recent scenes, George admitted to Sean it wasn’t heaven that Eileen saw, but the light from his phone and the ringtone from Gail’s.
Todd recently revealed to his mum that her experience with heaven wasn’t real, resulting in her throwing her drink at him.
She stormed out of the Rovers Return and bumped into Gail, letting rip that she had tried to “con” her into thinking she had “called in the angels”.
Gail had no idea what Eileen was talking about, but the latter stormed off visibly upset over the experience.
Will Eileen take some time away from the cobbles to get her health back to normal?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! begins Sunday, November 6 from 9pm on ITV.
