Coleen Nolan's son Shane reveals on Loose Women he plans on moving out from his mother's home

Shane Roche Jr. has revealed he plans on finally moving out of his mother Coleen Noland’s home as lockdown is drawing to a close.

The 32-year-old son of Coleen and TV personality Shane Ritchie was appearing on Loose Women on Tuesday when he revealed his plans. 

Speaking on the show, Shane said: ‘I am eventually moving out but it’s been a God send that I have been able to live with my mum at the minute.’

During the pandemic, Shane hilariously vented over Loose Women being filmed remotely, meaning Coleen’s kitchen would be overtaken. 

He tweeted earlier this year: ‘Once again I wasn’t informed of @loosewomen in my kitchen today, told to turn WiFi off and stay in my room until the show is over.Who do I need to speak to at the show to get this sorted?’

His appearance on the show came while Shane and his friend Ray Quinn discussed their new show All Singing! All Swinging!, as he said that he was pleased that the show had given him a reason to get out of the house. 

Shane also moved on to discuss his spur of the moment proposal to his model girlfriend Maddie Wahdan.

He said: ‘Originally I was meant to ask her in Kent but then they went into tier 3 so I had no idea how I was going to do it.  I just made it up on the spot, game of charades.’

His mother Coleen also chipped in about the proposal and said that gesture was ‘brilliant’ and left Maddie and everyone else present crying with joy. 

This isn’t the first time that Shane’s marriage proposal has been spoken about on the programme, with Coleen having brought it up back in January.

The TV presenter revealed she broke down in tears of joy when she watched her son Shane Jr propose to his girlfriend Maddie. 

She said that the family knew beforehand Shane would be popping the question.

The proposal took place during a game of charades, with the husband-to-be previously describing it as a ‘brilliant way to end a s**t year’.

Coleen recalled: ‘Obviously Christmas was very different but on Christmas Eve my son Shane proposed to his now fiancé, we were playing a game where we had to guess what the person was going to say… she cried, I cried.’

When asked if she knew about the proposal, Coleen said: ‘We did know for a month beforehand, originally Maddie was going to go back to her mum for Christmas when it was tiers.

‘He was behind her and he said, “the ring is down there”.’

The proposal was originally going to take place in Kent but restrictions meant Coleen got to see it happen.

She added: ‘He was going to go back Kent with her for Christmas… but I’m so happy I got to see the proposal.’
