Chris Hughes is devastated after thieves break into his BMW and steal his rare golf clubs

Chris Hughes has been left devastated after his BMW was broken into by thieves who smashed his rear view window on Monday night. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the former Love Island star, 28, shared a snap of the shattered window and revealed that his rare golf clubs had been stolen.

Chris told his followers the devastating news, and said that the sporting equipment were so rare that they were virtually ‘unsellable.’

Seven of the golf clubs were Cobra Copper Forged Irons, and are priced at £1,001 each.  

He posted a few photos including one of the back of the vehicle with the glass smashed and multiple photos of the clubs and the bag they were in.  

Chris wrote in the caption: ‘Friends/golfing friends, PLEASE keep an eye out.

‘Car broken in overnight. Only reason I’m posting this is because these should almost be unsellable in the respect of the rarity of these just floating around for sale.’

He went on: ‘Left Handed Cobra Copper Forged irons, driver, 3 wood and 3 iron, hardly any sets of these kicking around the country. 

‘Just hope you can all keep an eye out, appreciate it. ps I really had a love affair with these clubs.’ 

The former reality star made his fame back in 2017 on the dating show, but has forged a career as a sports pundit in racing and sometime golf.

His love of golf goes further as he is now dating Annabel Dimmock – a professional in the game. 

Annabelle won the Ladies European Tour having turned professional in 2016, and she met Chris whilst out on the green. 

The couple – who have been dating for three months – stated their love for one another is for ‘eternity’ as they sealed their relationship with the inked symbols. 

Chris and Annabelle only went Instagram official in August, and have been inseparable.
