Aaron Wan-Bissaka snub

Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has distanced himself from a transfer away from Selhurst Park.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the 21-year-old right-back.

But Wan-Bissaka insists he’s going nowhere.

“The situation just shows that my performances don’t go unnoticed,” he told the Evening Standard. “I am with Crystal Palace at the moment. That is where my contract is and that is where I will be next season.

“I have got three years left on my contract. It says I am going to be there, so that is all I can focus on now.”

Wanted: Martell Taylor-Crossdale

Chelsea teenager Martell Taylor-Crossdale is being tracked by three English clubs.

That’s according to The Mirror, who claim Southampton, Fulham and Bristol City are all interested in signing the England Under-20 international.

Taylor-Crossdale is out of contract in June and could be picked up as a free agent should the Blues not negotiate a new deal.

The 19-year-old was lethal in Chelsea’s Under-18 squad – netting 35 goals and providing six assists. However, he’s been less effective at Under-23 level with just one goal during a 5-0 EFL Trophy thrashing of Plymouth.

Eden Hazard transfer clue

Chelsea have sent fans wild after a club announcement may have revealed a clue about Eden Hazard’s future.

Real Madrid target Hazard, 28, was chosen to model next year’s Nike jersey – which could mean that the club are confident of keeping hold of their most prized asset next season.

“HE STAYSSSSS,” one fan wrote about the announcement. I take it as hazard is staying then,” said another.

One was less optimistic – pointing out that Neymar modelled Barcelona’s new kit shortly before his mega-money move to Paris St-Germain.

Defensive crisis

Maurizio Sarri believes Chelsea are “in trouble” for their Europa League semi-final due to a centre back injury crisis.

Gary Cahill will miss Thursday’s semi-final first leg with an Achilles injury, leaving David Luiz and Andreas Christensen as Chelsea’s only fit senior centre backs.

Cesar Azpilicueta will cover centre back at the Commerzbank Arena, with Antonio Rudiger also sidelined for three months after knee surgery.

“Gary Cahill has an Achilles tendon injury,” said Sarri. “We hope to recover him in one week. So we are in trouble with the centre backs. For the last two trainings we played with Azpilicueta at centre back. So we are in trouble.

“We’ve played 58 matches so injuries are typical. We were lucky previously but not in the last 10 days.”
