Carol Vorderman, 61, and co-host Ashley Banjo, 34, hosted this year’s Pride of Britain from London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, where a number of famous faces joined Monday night’s ceremony to celebrate the nation’s unsung heroes, honouring their good deeds. The Countdown legend has since reacted to her pal and Strictly Come Dancing star, Helen Skelton, 39.
It comes after Carol wowed in red as she walked the red carpet with her son Cameron.
The mathematician, who is a self-proclaimed fan of upcycling, opted to wear the same gown she wore at the Pride of Britain Awards last year.
Carol sported a red floor-length gown with padded shoulders, accessorised with a fishtail.
The gorgeous upcycled gown hugged her curves as her blonde tresses cascaded down her shoulders, as she posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Taking to the micro-blogging site on October 25, she shared a video with her 495,000 followers, as her son held a Union Jack umbrella over his mum’s head.
The mum and son duo could be seen walking arm in arm as Carol greeted fans and posed for pictures.
She captioned the post: “My son Cameron escorting me along the red carpet last night….looking after his Mum at the @PrideOfBritain awards.
“Dress was upcycled from wearing it last year on stage… thank you @suzanneneville.”
The sweet message comes after Helen’s public split with Leeds Rhinos legend Richie Myler.
The presenter, who is currently taking part in this year’s Strictly, announced the couple’s separation in April and later shared she moved back in with her parents at her family’s farm.
Meanwhile, Carol gave fans a behind the scenes glimpse as she prepared for her hosting gig at this year’s Pride of Britain.
Going from her natural good looks to red-carpet glam, Carol thanked her team for the “sprucing up.”
