Bringing Up Bates star Lawson Bates is engaged to his girlfriend Tiffany Espensen.
The 29-year-old television personality proposed to the 22-year-old actress at a Tuscan wine estate during a trip that the couple took to Italy this week.
‘Getting to know Tiffany — her heart, her passions, and her dreams — has been the greatest joy of my life, and we have been making so many wonderful memories together over the past year,’ Lawson gushed to PEOPLE magazine.

The country singer told Tiffany that they were traveling to Italy to film a music video for their new duet Crazy Love. The loved-up pair recently co-starred in the music video for Lawson’s song The Way I See You.
Lawson kept the main reason for their trip a secret as he wanted to surprise the Avengers: Infinity War star with the proposal.
He said, ‘It has been a roller coaster of a few days so far, from our first stop at the Colosseum in Rome, to a Vespa ride through the Siena countryside, to a lovely evening dinner in San Gimignano, to a horse and carriage ride through Florence — all leading up to the main reason I’m here: asking Tiffany if she would spend the rest of her life by my side.’

Celebrating: On Thursday, Lawson shared a video to his Instagram Story in which the newly-engaged couple were seen driving with the countryside.
Thrilled: Tiffany flashed her engagement ring as the singer exclaimed, ‘I’m the luckiest man alive!’
The former Nickelodeon actress said that she had started to become suspicious but was still surprised and delighted when the Tennessee native popped the question.
‘I knew something was suspicious when Lawson became awfully secretive with texts and planning with others,’ she explained. ‘However, he still blew me away with this surprise!’
‘To travel to Italy for any occasion is a dream, but especially for an engagement.’

Lawson’s proposal took place at the Tenuta Larnianone, a family-owned wine estate and resort in Siena. The estate includes villas and farmhouses, some of which were built in the 17th century and restructured according to Tuscan traditions.
The 345-acre winery also features three swimming pools, 47 acres of vineyards and 30 acres of olive groves.
Lawson said, ‘Our engagement happened right at sunset with just a few simple roses, and the serenity of the Tuscan backdrop. I was thrilled and overjoyed when she said, ‘YES!”
