The Prime Minister is set to announce the end of the emergency lockdown laws under his new Covid Winter Plan.
Instead, Mr Johnson will hand out booster jabs in an attempt to prevent the UK being plunged into yet another lockdown.
The third set of inoculations are expected to be given the go-ahead by the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisation next week.
If approved, booster vaccinations could be given to more vulnerable Britons in two weeks time.
