Big Brother's Christina Podolyan and Marley Biyendolo arrive at the airport for finale

    They are about to fight for $250,000 in prize money during Tuesday night’s Big Brother finale. 

    But Christina Podolyan and Marley Biyendolo proved they were friendly competition as they greeted each other at Sydney Airport on Friday, just hours before the city went into lockdown. 

    The pair gave each other a big hug following their flights into the harbour city.

    Marley also hugged fellow housemate Tilly Whitfield, who was also there to greet the pair.

    The trio eagerly chatted as they made their way to awaiting transport.  

    Marley dressed comfortably in a matching blush pink tracksuit along with white sneakers. He was covid safe with a face mask.

    Meanwhile, Christina showed off her incredible figure in a black tights along with a plunging black top and a pair of sneakers. 

    Tilly opted for a pair of denim shorts, which she paired with a blue jumper and white sneakers. 

    The Big Brother finale will air on Tuesday night in the midst of Sydney’s lockdown, which was imposed after an increase of Covid cases in the city.

    Channel Seven reported on Sunday that the show was supposed to be filmed in front of a large studio audience.

    However, that has since changed due to the ongoing pandemic.  

    Out of the final four, one contender is the clear favourite to win it all, according to multiple betting websites.

    As of Thursday, both Sportsbet and TAB had basketballer Marley as the short-odds favourite to walk away with the cash prize.

    Sportsbet had the Melburnian at $1.60 to be the last man standing in the house, with Christina lagging behind at $2.90.

    Sarah Jane and Ari are at long odds to win, sitting at $7 and $12 respectively.

    It comes after Marley revealed he would not be splitting the cash prize with any of the final four if he won the series. 

    ‘No, it was never a discussion with me,’ said Marley. ‘I’m not sure I have heard about it being a discussion with anyone else in the house.’

    ‘I don’t think there was a discussion that was had, that anyone ever wanted to split the money with someone else,’ he continued.

    Speaking of his fellow housemates, Marley said there were some ‘real fighters’ that did ‘everything they could’ to get to the end of the competition.  

    ‘It’s something I respect about this cast,’ said the basketballer. ‘Everyone wanted to take this thing out and do everything they could to get there.’

    ‘There definitely wasn’t any discussion between me and anyone else [about splitting the winnings],’ he added. ‘Whoever gets it, and gets up there, deserves the 250k.’
