Doctor Who has landed itself in hot water after filming scenes at a popular tourist destination without fully consulting its landowners. After its most recent Power of the Doctor episode, the BBC may now be banned from filming at Lulworth Estate in Dorset again.
The family who own the land of Devon cove, Durdle Door, has warned off the BBC from returning to its iconic spot on the coast.
James Weld shared his family’s frustration at the lack of contact from Doctor Who bosses after the scenes shot above the picturesque arch.
In Jodie Whittaker’s final episode as the Time Lord, she morphed into the previous fan favourite David Tennant.
As she regenerated, a lightning bolt flew through a demonic-looking sky, with the amazing backdrop of the Dorset coast.

Fans were in shock as Bradley Knowles tweeted: “Not watched Doctor Who in years, had it on in the background and David Tennant is back as the Doctor. What’s happening?”
Kenzie Lecki reacted: “Nah I’m shaking. They only went and brought DAVID BACK!!!”
@Lyrcmck wrote: “David Tennant back as The Doctor. Even if it’s just for the 60th anniversary, I’m so f*****g happy.”
Labyrinth Hoax penned: “No way Jodie actually regenerated into David Tennant, the fan theory was right????”
The memorable moment was part of the show’s huge 60th anniversary celebrations.
As part of the milestone, the Doctor’s former sidekick Donna Noble (played by Catherine Tate) will also return to TV screens.
Jodie Whittaker bowed out of the role after four years and is already looking forward to coming back into the fold.
On her departure, she declared to the Radio Times: “If I’m not asked back, I will be devastated.”
