Arsenal may end up missing out on Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk with Paris Saint-Germain now rumoured to be in the mix. A vacancy may soon present itself at the Parc des Princes with Kylian Mbappe keen to leave in January, despite signing a lucrative new contract in the summer.
PSG hasn’t been a club full of happy campers this season. Factions have supposedly emerged in the dressing room with Neymar and Mbappe broadly failing to see eye-to-eye and other players picking sides.
Sly shots have been fired by the Frenchman on social media while reports emerged this week stating that he is now dead-set on finding a new club in January. That would leave huge boots to fill in Paris but sporting director Luis Campos may not find it too difficult to convince a top attacker to play alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.
According to Media Foot, PSG are already weighing up whether to make a move for Mudryk next summer as Mbappe’s long-term replacement.

“Every guy dreams about the Premier League. It’s a top league and everyone wants to play in it. But the speculation has passed and I must move forward and focus on Shakhtar and in winter we will see what will happen.
“There was a lot of discussions about a transfer and clubs who want me, but it’s normal. Now I am at Shakhtar and I want to play in this team. I love this team. I love every guy in this team. Shakhtar for me is home, but I want to always improve myself and achieve new goals. Now, all my thoughts are only about Shakhtar but in the winter we will see.”
