Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto are spotted in character as Adam and Rebekah Neumann while working on the NYC set of WeCrashed
Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto were spotted working on the New York City set of the upcoming series WeCrashed on Friday.
The 49-year-old actor was spotted strolling along the city’s sidewalks while taking a phone call, while his 38-year-old costar was seen smiling while prepping to film a scene.
The forthcoming drama miniseries has been filming for several months, and it is currently set to premiere on AppleTV+ in the near future.

Leto, who is set to portray Adam Neumann, kept it very dressed-down as he wore a flat dark gray t-shirt that was contrasted with a slim-fitting pair of black pants.
The Fight Club actor was also seen wearing a set of dark sunglasses as he strolled along Manhattan’s streets and remained barefoot for the length of filming.
Hathaway, who portrays Neumann’s wife Rebekah, opted for a much more eye-catching outfit, as she was costumed in a beautiful multicolored dress that covered much of her frame.
The Les Miserables actress also sported a set of leather-strap sandals and a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Her luscious brunette hair fell onto her backside and shoulders during the day’s shoot.
Development on WeCrashed was initially announced in February of 2020 when producer Lee Eisenberg signed on to work on the project.
The program is based on the Wondery podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, which was helmed by David Brown.
The series is centered around the story of WeWork, a startup that was touted as the future of work management before it folded.

In addition to the two leads, several other performers have been added to WeCrashed’s cast in the recent past.
America Ferrera is currently set to portray a character named Elishia Kennedy in the forthcoming series.
Kyle Marvin signed on to play WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey this past April, according to Variety.
Last month, O. T. Fagbenle was added to the cast and will appear in a recurring role in the forthcoming show.

Several of the series’ cast members were first seen working on the show this past May, and an end date has not been set as of yet.
WeCrashed is currently set to be made available to the public on the Apple TV+ streaming service at an unspecified date in the future.
A separate series centered on the rise and fall of WeWork is currently being developed by Stephen Falk, with Succession’s Nicholas Braun set to lead the series.
A documentary entitled WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn previously premiered at the most recent South by Southwest festival and received generally positive reviews following its release.
