Rumours swirl Chris Judd is eyeing off a political career – one year after his wife Rebecca criticised Premier Dan Andrews during Melbourne’s Covid lockdown
Retired AFL star Chris Judd is reportedly considering running for office in Victoria.
According to the Herald Sun, the 37-year-old former Carlton captain was spotted at Parliament House in Melbourne earlier this week.
He had earlier been seen with Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg at a football game.

It comes after Chris’ wife Rebecca made headlines last September when she criticised Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews for his lockdown laws.
Mr Andrews had announced at the time Melbourne would remain under lockdown due to an increase in coronavirus cases.

Rebecca snuck in a swipe at the Labor premier in a sponsored Instagram post for a cardboard company, writing: ‘@the_little_cardboard_co perfect for iso and upcoming school holidays as it seems Dictator Dan will be locking Victorians in our homes even longer.’
The former Postcards host faced backlash for daring to express her opinion from her $7.3million mansion in Brighton, while other Melburnians were doing it far tougher.
She later deleted the post after facing backlash from Mr Andrews’ supporters.

Rebecca has since maintained her silence on political matters, despite Victoria’s latest lockdown drawing criticism across the political spectrum.
The former Nine weather presenter married AFL great Chris in a lavish ceremony on New Year’s Eve in 2010.
The couple live in Brighton with their four children, son Oscar, nine, daughter Billie, six, and twin sons Tom and Darcy, four.
