Squid Game viewers spot a hidden detail in episode one that changes everything

Netflix’s Squid Game is fast becoming the streaming giant’s most popular show ever, with viewers around the world obsessed with the gory survival drama. 

So naturally, eagle-eyed fans have been re-watching the South Korean series on the hunt for subtle clues and Easter eggs they may have missed – and soon discovered a massive one that has been hidden in plain sight since episode one.

The show itself is set in modern-day Seoul, where a group of 456 people are invited to play a series of children’s games with the chance to win a huge amount of money – but if you lose in the game, you lose your life.

Interestingly, viewers pointed out this week that drawings detailing every game the contestants were set to play were written on the dormitory walls the entire time.

The stick-figure cartoons depicted each of the six games in clear detail, including tug-o-war, Red Light Green Light, and the honeycomb challenge.

The pictures were only slightly visible in early episodes as they were located behind the players’ beds.    

However, they became more clear when players were eliminated from the contest.

Fans in their masses took to social media to share their thoughts on the drawings, with one writing: ‘So for those who watched squid games, am I tripping or did y’all notice the drawings on the walls in the area they slept in? 

‘They had the answer to “what’s the next game” the whole time.’

‘Squid Game semi-spoiler question: how the f**k did no one bother to look at the drawings on the wall?’ another added.

‘So now that y’all watched squid game, did y’all notice the drawings on the walls of the room where the bunk beds were? There were drawings of the games they would have to play lol they never even noticed,’ a third pointed out.

‘As if nobody ever noticed the drawings on the wall when they’re holed up there the whole day,’ a fourth chimed in.

‘I’m still wondering how out of the 456 players, nobody bothered to check/notice the drawings on the wall,’ another baffled fan added.
