Embracing her natural beauty! Samantha Armytage, 45, goes makeup free while taking her dog Banjo for a walk after years of being made up for breakfast TV
She spend years of very early mornings being made up for her hosting gig on Sunrise.
But Samantha Armytage is embracing her natural beauty these days after retiring from the role.
The 45-year-old went completely makeup free as she took her dog Banjo for a walk near the Southern Highlands farm she shares with her husband Richard Lavender.

Without a scrap of paint on her complexion, Sam was glowing in the afternoon sun.
She rugged up for the walk in a puffer jacket with a fur-lined hood and a warm headband.
Sam posted a picture of her stroll on Instagram and joked that her beloved labarador Banjo was lagging behind, writing in the caption ‘Waiting for old mate’.
Samantha was recently forced to call her husband Richard to pick her up after her Banjo refused to walk home.
She shared a photo to Instagram of herself and Banjo seated in the car during their trip back home.
‘When you go for a big walk and then you have to call your husband to come get you because SOMEBODY doesn’t want to walk home,’ she captioned the post.

It comes after Samantha shared a video of Banjo on an underwater treadmill.
‘And then “we” had a workout,’ she captioned the video, which was posted to Instagram Stories.
A second post showed an unimpressed Banjo standing on the treadmill in front of a woman – possibly Samantha – with the TV star joking that he ‘loves it’.
‘For all those asking, Banjo (like many Labs) has arthritis in his elbows and knees. So a few times a week we do a session on the underwater treadmill…’ she explained.

Critics previously accused Samantha of overfeeding the four-year-old Labrador after she shared a photo of him lazing on a couch on Instagram back in September 2019.
The photo showed Banjo sprawled out on the couch, with his legs lazily dangling off the side, and his head appearing to be buried against the arm rest.
‘What are you feeding him? Lol,’ wrote one person, while another added, ‘(Banjo) Getting well fed Sam!!’
Other dog lovers were concerned for Banjo’s health and well-being.
‘Aww, love this but after owning Labs forever, his poor hips and knees are not going to handle his weight and he will be in so much pain,’ commented one follower.

But others were quick to jump to Banjo’s defence, arguing that everyone needed to lay off the adorable dog.
A Sydney-based veterinarian told Daily Mail Australia at the time the dog appeared ‘overweight’ based on his appearance in the photo.
A healthy weight for male Labradors is around 30 kilos.
‘A good weight loss diet is super important for this dog,’ the vet – who did not want to be named – told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Just like humans, they are prone to osteoarthritis, increased joint pain from excess weight and heart disease.’
