Sam and Lara Worthington are back in the US after spending most of the year back home in Sydney.

And the couple – who married in 2014 – were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll through New York City on Monday.

They held hands as they enjoyed a rare public outing in Manhattan’s West Village, with Lara, 34, beaming during their walk.

The model looked chic in a pair of wide-leg brown pants, which she paired with a fitted white top.

She also wore an oversize button-up red shirt over the top, which she styled open with the sleeves rolled up.

Lara rounded out her effortless ensemble with a pair of black ballet flats with straps, and a large brown handbag.

Her bobbed blonde hair was worn slicked back in an updo, and she appeared makeup free, hiding her eyes behind a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Sam, 45, opted for an all-black ensemble, consisting of pants, a long-sleeve T-shirt and boots.

He carried a camo-print backpack on the front of his torso, and rounded out his ensemble with a brown trucker cap and black sunglasses.

Sam and Lara were not joined by their three young sons: Rocket, six, Racer, four, and River, one.  

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the couple had sold their Hollywood Hills home for $8.2million after moving back to Australia in January.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph in April, Lara said she was relishing being back home in Australia.

‘If I can steal a moment I love an early morning or night ocean swim, as the sun goes down,’ she said at the time. 

‘Also spending time with my family at the beach is something I am cherishing. These moments at the beach are special and remind me of my childhood.’
