‘You’re almost a week early!’ Channel 10 go-to host Osher Günsberg suffers epic fail as he promotes Australian Survivor finale – but gets day wrong
Osher Günsberg made an embarrassing gaffe on Instagram on Tuesday, when he advertised the Australian Survivor finale.
The 47-year-old Network 10 host said he was ‘excited’ to watch the finale on Tuesday – even though it won’t actually air until Sunday.
‘I can’t tell you how excited I am about tonight’s finale. As far as I’m concerned it’s the greatest game humans have ever invented,’ he began in a since deleted post.

He then reflected on his time as a guest host on Survivor last year, after being asked to fill in for regular host Jonathan LaPaglia, who was stuck in LA because of Australia’s closed borders amid the coronavirus pandemic.
‘Of course, he read the votes – however I did get to do the after vote tribal council chat, which for a fan of the show like me, was like that kids’ movie where the high school kid is asked to throw quarterback for the LA Raiders on Super Bowl Sunday,’ he continued.

Sharing a photo of himself peering at Jonathan, 52, on the TV screen over his shoulder, he added: ‘Not tonight. Bring us home JLP.’
