With the Californian company keeping things so close to its chest, it’s unusual to see Sky giving consumers such a massive hint about what’s to come. The September 14 cut-off date on Sky Mobile’s pre-registration page also tallies perfectly with a number of rumours about the launch date for the iPhone 13.
A recent report from YouTube show Front Page Tech, which has had a pretty solid track record with details of unannounced Apple products, corroborates the above date. According to sources speaking to the show, iPhone 13 will arrive on store shelves worldwide on September 24, with pre-orders starting online a week earlier, September 17. And the all-important announcement will be streamed from Apple’s headquarters on September 14.
If an event takes place next week, Apple will almost certainly push out invites within the next few days so full confirmation of the iPhone 12 launch could arrive soon.
This could be another big year for this popular device with Apple expected to bring a swathe of new features and upgrades to its iPhone range. Perhaps the biggest news is that the next generation of iPhones will finally get a 120Hz screen which will improve the speed when scrolling through emails and websites. This is a feature most Android phones have had for a while so it makes sense for Apple to follow.
