Delta Goodrem goes incognito for Sydney lockdown outing – but still advertises her brand with official ‘Delta’ T-shirt

She recently admitted she’s ‘becoming a brunette’ without access to a hair salon during lockdown.

But Delta Goodrem hid her dark roots beneath a black cap on Sunday, when the actress and singer stepped out in Sydney’s CBD.

It was just part of the 36-year-old’s incognito look, which also included dark shades and a black face mask.

One giveaway as to The Voice star’s identity came via her T-shirt, which bore her name across the back.

The Neighbours alum continued the monochromatic theme with dark pants and white sneakers as she strolled Sydney’s streets with a Christmas gift bag.

Delta’s mostly blonde tresses were balled back in a low bun for the outing.

The sighting comes after Goodrem showed off her dark roots during a live interview on the Today show from her home in Sydney.

The bottle blonde joked she was slowly ‘becoming a brunette’ through no choice of her own because she has no access to a hairdresser.

Despite having darker roots, Delta looked nothing short of glamorous during her interview, with her hair neatly straightened and sporting dewy makeup.

‘How do you keep your hair looking so good in lockdown? I need to get my roots done; it’s just awful,’ Today host Karl Stefanovic said.

The Innocent Eyes star then joked she was ‘becoming a brunette’ because she hadn’t been able to get her hair professionally dyed.

‘As you can see, I don’t think I’ve had my roots done, Karl! I’m becoming a brunette, not a blonde!’ she said with a laugh.

Delta also spoke about the Covid-19 lockdown in Sydney, which has forced her to postpone her tour until next year.

‘It’s definitely been unique. We were getting set and ready for a tour and I was pulling it all together and I was extremely disappointed to move that,’ she said.

‘[But I’m] just hunkering down at home and trying to be creative.’
