Country music star Jordan Davis welcome second child Locklan Joseph with wife Kristen

Country music star Jordan Davis is a father once again, welcoming his second child, son Locklan Joseph, with his wife Kristen.

Davis, 33, shares daughter Eloise Larkin , 21 months, with wife Kristen, who he’s been married to since March 2017.

The singer took to Instagram to share the first images of his infant son, along with a heartfelt message.

‘God is good… Locklan Joseph arrived yesterday, and he is perfect,’ Davis began in his statement. 

‘Kristen is the toughest person I’ve ever met and she did such an amazing job getting him here,’ he added.

‘Momma and baby are both doing great and I am so blessed to get to be Locklan and Eloise’s Dad,’ he concluded.

The singer announced his family was expecting their second in mid-May, with another Instagram post of his wife and daughter.

‘Add a few limbs to the family tree…add me to the list of artists putting out new music and having kids during quarantine,’ Davis said.

He also opened up about their gender reveal in an interview with People, revealing he was ‘stoked’ to learn he was having a boy.

‘We did a little reveal at the house with me, Kristen and Eloise,” Jordan explained.

‘We had a present wrapped up that was either going to be something for a girl or a boy. And it was a boy present. I was pretty stoked,’ he added.

He also added that Eloise was, ‘good at wearing big sister shirts, but I don’t think she quite understands.’

Reveal: ‘We did a little reveal at the house with me, Kristen and Eloise,” Jordan explained

Stoked: ‘We had a present wrapped up that was either going to be something for a girl or a boy. And it was a boy present. I was pretty stoked,’ he added

‘It’s going to be a bit of a transition for her. We’ve been trying to read books to her about becoming a big sister, but she cares more about looking at the pictures than really listening to what’s going on,’ he added.

He also added in another interview that he was ready to have a boy after having Eloise.

‘The second you see her, you know your life has forever changed. It’s just this crazy feeling that all dads know,’ he said. 

‘She came out and I just completely lost it. I’m definitely a girl dad. I just love the hell out of her,’ he added.
