It comes after Danielle told MailOnline in March that she had ‘found the one’ in reformed prisoner Ben Hatchett.

Although the pair had only been official for a month, things moved quickly between them as Danielle admired the way Ben has been turning his life around.

Danielle first met 31-year-old Ben when she appeared as a guest on his podcast, Let’s Be Real, and things escalated from there.

After messaging back and forth, the pair enjoyed a first date in his old home, high-security hospital Broadmoor – which houses some of the UK’s most dangerous criminals.

‘We went to Broadmoor on our first date!’ she laughed. ‘He was back there for a documentary he’s doing and I live nearby so he used it as an excuse for me to come along!’

Explaining why she fell for him, Danielle mused: ‘He’s passionate about anti-knife crime. He wants to make a positive difference in the world and he is very passionate about inspiring the younger generation.

‘We got a really strong connection, he’s caring and protective towards me. It’s definitely love.’

Ben was found guilty of ABH after a string of knife crime offences as a teenager. He served time in a young offender institution and prison before being moved to Broadmoor Hospital aged 21 after an escape attempt.

While doing his time he worked in the canteen and was tasked with serving some of Britain’s most notorious prisoners their meals, including Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe, Ian Brady and Kenneth Erskine, the Stockwell Strangler.

Ben previously told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘I was inside with all the serial killers and notorious people. I had some altercations with dangerous people.’

Shortly after arriving he was was attacked by Matthew Quesada who killed a man in a café who had asked if his crying daughter was OK.

Ben claimed: ‘He poured hot water on me and stabbed me in the back repeatedly. That was my first experience of anything like that.’

After being released from Broadmoor last year, Ben now uses his platform to help others, having written a book, The Law Of Attraction, released a podcast, and selling the rights to his life story to a film company.
