New Apple Watch could be set for its biggest redesign in years

A body-temperature sensor could be added with the 2022 Apple Watch though.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is also expected to be slightly larger than its predecessors.

The Series 7 will reportedly come in 41 millimetre and 45 millimetre sizes, which is an increase from 40 and 44 previously.

This would be the first time the Apple Watch size has increased since the Series 4’s launch in 2014.

To take advantage of this slightly bigger real estate, Apple will reportedly bundle in multiple new watch faces as well as an updated Infograph Modular face.

The upcoming flatter edges to the Series 7 means the new wearable will arguably boast the biggest design change in the Apple Watch history.

Renders in this article, which were shared by Jon Prosser in a video on YouTube channel Front Page Tech, give a glimpse into what this new design could look like.
