Ashfield residents slam ‘overly entitled’ Isla Fisher for shooting her mini-series Wolf Like Me just METRES away from a locked-down LGA amid skyrocketing Covid numbers

Sydney residents have slammed Isla Fisher for shooting her mini-series Wolf Like Me as the state’s Covid numbers continue to skyrocket.

The actress is filming the six-part Stan series in Ashfield, a suburb in Sydney’s inner west, which is just metres away from the locked-down Canterbury Bankstown local government area.

The set is also a short distance from Summer Hill’s Wyoming Residential Aged Care Facility, which recently had a Covid outbreak.

One resident told The Daily Telegraph: ‘They have a false sense of security and are overly entitled. We are in the middle of a pandemic.’

The local also claimed there were 100 people on the set in June and ‘there were food trucks and crew coming in and out of houses’.

Filming for mini-series Wolf Like Me commenced on June 9th.

According to the NSW government, people in Greater Sydney can attend work only  if they ‘cannot reasonably work from home’.

Stan announced that Wolf Like Me would be filmed in Australia back in April.

The upcoming series is written by Aussie filmmaker Abe Forsythe and is based on his own life experience.

The six-part series will also be directed by Forsythe and is being made in conjunction with NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock in the U.S.

Each episode of the drama series will run for 30 minutes.

Isla will play a character named Mary while her co-star Josh Gad will play Gary – two strangers who are brought together in a twist of fate.

Gary is described as an ’emotional wreck’, who ‘struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife’.

Meanwhile, ‘Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone’.
