    Celebrity chef Shannon Bennett reveals he’s had his Covid-19 vaccine and slams anti-vaxxers who ‘snort unknown chemicals’ but refuse jabs

    Shannon Bennett has rolled up his sleeve to get his Covid-19 vaccine. 

    On Friday, the former MasterChef star shared a photo to Instagram, showing his arm protected by a Band-Aid after receiving his jab. 

    In a lengthy caption, the celebrity cook, 45, slammed those who use street drugs but refuse vaccines.

    He wrote: ‘First Pfizer jab this afternoon. Do this for yourself, family, community and everyone out there who is doing it tough during these crazy lockdowns. 

    ‘Especially small business and the Australian hospitality and tourism industries. 

    ‘Every person getting the vaccine is one press of the can that will apply a little more wd40 on the squeaky wheel that is the noise of anti-vax.

    ‘I have to laugh that some people will snort, drink or swallow unknown chemicals into their bodies for a quick high but then have issue with what’s in a vaccine and then go on to try and convince others it’s not safe!

    Shannon shares six children, Phoenix, Hendrix, Xascha, Xanthe, Xahlia and Margaux, with his ex-girlfriend Madeleine West.

    The former couple, who never married, announced their split in 2018 after 13 years of dating.

    Despite their break-up, the pair relocated with their kids to Byron Bay in 2019 after selling their marital home in Toorak, Melbourne, for $16million.

    Following their split, Madeleine said she was unlikely to ever get back together with Shannon, whom she had dated between 2005 and 2018.
