Sarah revealed her step-grandson Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi – known as Wolfie – believes she is a TV star thanks to her YouTube show, Storytime with Fergie & Friends. The Duchess of York joked about her relationship with the five-year-old as she appeared on an episode of Sarah Vine’s podcast Femail Half Hour on Mail+.
After discussing how she is preparing to play with trains and trucks alongside Princess Eugenie’s son August, Sarah added: “Don’t forget Beatrice has Wolfie who is five, so my step-grandson thinks that, because he watches Storytime with Fergie & Friends, for him I am the Jennifer Aniston of his life because I am very cool.
“So when he walks in he thinks I am a star because I am on TV on YouTube.”
Wolfie is the son of property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Beatrice’s husband, and his ex-fiancée architect Dara Huang.
After leaving her hosts in stitches with this revelation, Sarah went on to explain how it is to have a step-grandchild.
She said: “It’s the best fun for me because three to five-year-olds is my audience.
“I have written all those 38 books for three to five-year-olds.”
Sarah debuted earlier this week as the author of adult novels with the publication of Mills & Boon’s Her Heart for a Compass.
But, over the years, she has become a prolific author of children’s novels and books – with titles including Budgie the Little Helicopter and Little Red.

Sarah launched a daily show on YouTube called Storytime with Fergie & Friends in April 2020 with the aim of keeping children entertained and engaged during lockdown.
At first, Fergie or one of her guests would read a short book or story.
But the channel eventually evolved to also include activities for youngsters to carry out at home with food and common items.
Sarah’s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie have appeared on the YouTube show as guests.

Beatrice welcomed Wolfie into her life upon marrying his father Edoardo in July last year.
The child reportedly acted as both pageboy and best man at the secret nuptials that took place in the midst of the first national lockdown at the Royal Chapel in Windsor.
In March, Beatrice opened up on her relationship with little Wolfie and their day-to-day life in an op-ed she penned to mark World Book Day.
She wrote: “This year, I had the great honour to become a step-mother, and have had the most remarkable time going back over some of my most favourite stories at bedtime.”
Beatrice also touched upon homeschooling and how she and Edoardo got on with it while schools were closed due to the pandemic.
She wrote: “My stepson has been, as many children have, homeschooling this term.
“Helping him to engage with stories is a great journey to inspire imagination, creativity, independence and humour.
“If you have not yet read the Oi Frog books by Kes Grey and Jim Field, they have fast become our favourite.”
In May, Buckingham Palace announced that Beatrice and Edoardo are expecting their first baby together.
A statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.
“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
