Muffins passed away last week, Crown Princess Mette-Marit told her Instagram followers in a grief-stricken post. The royal revealed that the adorable pup died from cancer.
She posted several pictures of the labradoodle with other members of her family.
“Our last trip,” the royal wrote in tribute to her beloved pet along with a picture of Muffins.
“This week our Muffins died from cancer,” the Crown Princess wrote.
“The whole family’s fun crow bun & best friend who was born at home in the living room.

“She has given us all more love, comfort and laughter than you could hope for, and everyone here and mum Milly miss her very much,” she wrote.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon have two children – Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus.
They are second and third in line to the Norwegian throne, respectively.
The Crown Princess said that Muffins gave her family “love, comfort, and laughter”.
The labradoodle’s full name is Muffin Kråkebolle which in English means Muffin Sea Urchin.
