Gabriela Peacock, whose new book received the Royal seal of approval from Beatrice, 32, weighed in on the mum-to-be’s dietary habits. Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy was confirmed by Buckingham Palace in May.

Speaking to People, the author of 2 Weeks to Feeling Great highlighted how nutritional choices affect lives.

She said: “Biochemistry is so powerful — you can really change someone’s well-being in just a week.

“It has to be easy otherwise it’s not sustainable.”

The expert went on to point out that Princess Beatrice looks “amazing, just super happy, and they are all fantastic — it’s great news!”

But as a friend she tries to “be helpful, no matter what kind life changes they go through.”

She added: “I talk about nutrition, all the time, so I think it slightly rubs off on my friends!”

The Queen’s granddaughter is godmother to Ms Peacock’s daughter, Iris.

She praised the expert’s new book, saying its concepts “are effective and realistic guidelines to follow no matter what you are doing in the day.”
