Radio host Marty Sheargold labels former colleague Fifi Box ‘the worst drinker I’ve ever met in my life’ as he details her drunken antics

Marty Sheargold has dished the dirt on his former colleague Fifi Box’s wild streak.

Speaking on Fox FM on Tuesday, Marty, 49, described Fifi as the ‘worst’ drunk he had ever seen.

The pair used to work together on Triple M’s The Shebang radio show, which ran from 2006 until 2008.

Both have since moved on, with Fifi, 44, now co-hosting Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev and Nick.

Proving her party days are well and truly behind her, Fifi told her current co-hosts, Nick Cody and Brendan Fevola, that she hasn’t enjoyed a wild night out since the birth of her two-year-old daughter, Daisy.

Her co-hosts then challenged her to have an ‘all-nighter’ on the Gold Coast, which will see her partying nonstop for 24 hours before fronting up for work.

They then called on Marty to find out just how wild Fifi was before becoming a doting mum to two young daughters.

And Marty certainly didn’t hold anything back: ‘I tell you what, Fi is the worst drinker I’ve ever met in my life.’

He then recounted a promotion they did for Cuervo Tequila in Brisbane, and said that after losing Fifi, he found her ‘standing at the bar pashing the bloke from Cuervo who’d set the whole night up’.

A sheepish Fifi confessed she still has no idea ‘how that happened’, and revealed she was eventually driven home by Marty’s brother.

Another incident saw Fifi and Marty travel to Hamilton Island for work, where she decided to go for a drunken swim while fully clothed.

‘The woman from the hotel came down and went, “Get out of the water! There’s box jellyfish in the water!” But Fifi was like, “I’m fine,”‘ Marty recounted.

He also spoke about the time she’d missed his stand-up comedy performance because she was too drunk to attend.

Marty said a staff member at the gig approached him and told him, ‘There’s a bit of an issue with Fifi.’

‘She said, “Oh, I’ve just been holding her hair back in the disabled toilets. She’s not going to make it to the gig.” This wasn’t midnight, this was a quarter past seven!’ he revealed.
