Raven-Symone credits wife Miranda Maday for inspiring her to lose 30 pounds in just three months: ‘She doesn’t want to take me to an early grave’
Raven-Symone recently spoke about how her wife, Miranda Maday, was the reason that she decided to lose 30 pounds in just three months.
The 35-year-old reality television personality spoke to E! News on Thursday and told the media outlet about her reasoning for changing her lifestyle.
The Disney Channel alum surprised her Instagram followers last June when she announced that she had married the social media figure during an intimate ceremony.

Raven-Symone began the conversation by expressing that she was wholly committed to her spouse and that the weight loss journey was undertaken in an effort to prolong her time with Maday.
The Daytime Emmy-nominated actress specifically noted that the changes in lifestyle were made ‘because we want to have a life together.’
The Raven’s Home star elaborated on her statement and expressed that Maday desired to spend as much time with her as she could, which led the actress to adopt a healthier way of living.
‘She doesn’t want to take me to an early grave and I want to make sure I am there for her in the best health possible,’ she noted.

Raven-Symone then opened up about the changes in lifestyle that she she took on and expressed that she was very rigid about her eating habits.
‘I do very minimal exercise and I am an avid faster. I make sure I have a minimum of 14-hour fast between dinner and…breakfast,’ she said.
The actress did point out, however, that she was not attempting to encourage any of her fans to emulate her practices, noting: ‘I don’t try to speak for anybody else.’
The performer went on to note that, despite her weight loss, she was reluctant to switch out her old clothing, as she wanted to account for any sudden changes in her lifestyle that may occur.

Raven-Symone pointed out that she kept looser garments around ‘just in case something goes down and a girl has heartbreak and I need a Twinkie.’
The actress and her wife first met in 2015 when they were attending a karaoke night at a bar in West Hollywood, and quickly hit it off.
She was also romantically involved with AzMarie Livingston for several years before she met her now-spouse, and the two broke things off permanently in 2015.

The two dated secretly for several years before the College Road Trip actress surprised her fans by announcing that she had married Maday on her Instagram account last June.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Raven-Symone noted that she desired to raise several children with her wife and that they planned on adding them to their lives in the near future.
‘I want four kids. I want a big family…if we just have one child, I feel like it’s not enough distraction. I want a whole bunch of people in the house.’
