There CAN'T be a reunion with Meghan on scene – expert warning over Harry & William feud

GB News presenter Dan Wootton said there is a “seismic gulf” between the once-close brothers. He warned the split could be “insurmountable” while the Duchess of Sussex is “on the scene”.

Writing in his MailOnline column, Mr Wootton said: “Sure, there’s been a few break-the-ice text messages about England’s football success this week and they made a cursory effort in front of the cameras knowing their every utterance was under the microscope.

“But, in reality, the gulf between William and Harry is now seismic and, according to senior royal sources, possibly insurmountable. At least while Meghan is on the scene.”

The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex stepped out together for the Princess Diana statue unveiling yesterday.

The brothers reunited for the event at Kensington Palace on what would have been their late mother’s 60th birthday.

During a brief ceremony, with Diana’s siblings watching, William and Harry pulled away a green cloth covering the statue in the Sunken Garden.

The bronze figure of the Princess is surrounded by three children and depicts her in the later years of her life.

Kensington Palace said the statue aims to reflect Diana’s “warmth, elegance and energy”, while the children represent the “universality and generational impact of the Princess’s work”.

In a joint statement, the brothers said: “Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.

“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.

“Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive.”

William and Harry appeared in good spirits throughout the event.

Much attention has been on the brothers in the run up to the statue unveiling.

Harry travelled back to the UK from California for only the second time since Megxit for the ceremony.

He previously returned to Britain in April for Prince Philip’s funeral.

Harry and Meghan, who quit royal duties last year, made a set of explosive claims about the royals in their Oprah Winfrey interview in March.

And Harry went on to make further controversial comments about his family in the following weeks.
