Studio 10 host Sarah Harris fires back at a misogynistic Twitter troll who accused her of using her body to ‘bolster flagging ratings’
It’s often better to ignore the immeasurable number of trolls on Twitter if you’re a celebrity, but it seems Sarah Harris has finally drawn the line.
The 39-year-old Studio 10 host fired back at an offensive tweet on Wednesday which accused the presenter of using her body to ‘bolster ratings’.
‘My estimation of Australia took rather a nosedive, seeing how you use your body, to bolster flagging ratings?’ Twitter user ‘John Smith’ wrote.

‘Who are you trying to control?’ he then asked.
Sarah responded with a picture of actress Elizabeth Moss wearing a head-to-toe red cloak and white bonnet as seen on the TV series The Handmaid’s Tale.
‘Thanks so much for your feedback on my TV wardrobe John,’ she wrote.
‘You’re right, skin is the devil’s work (especially WOMEN’S KNEES. Gross) and ladies must be covered from neck to ankles at all times.’

Trolling the troll: Sarah responded to “John” the next morning with a picture of actress Elizabeth Moss from the series The Handmaid’s Tale and sarcastic wrote, ”Just checking today’s look meets your exacting standards?’
‘Just checking today’s look meets your exacting standards?’ she added sarcastically.
Sarah’s fans and colleagues praised her response to the troll.
Peter Van Onselen, the political editor for Channel 10, tweeted a series of clapping-hand emojis.
ABC journalist Caro Meldrum-Hanna wrote; ‘Hahahahhahha YAS QUEEEEEN!’

‘Eight followers – it looks like John might be struggling to get traction on #Tinder,’ one viewer tweeted.
Sarah announced her separation from husband Tom Ward in March, but said last month she was in a ‘good place’.
The former couple share custody of sons Paul, five, and Harry, three.
