UEFA have decided Antonio Rudiger will face no disciplinary action for his alleged bite on Paul Pogba. The Germany defender appeared to nibble on the back of the Manchester United midfielder, who immediately screamed in pain and shock.
Replays showed that Rudiger did in fact appear to bite his opposite number, who was furious that the incident went unnoticed.
Pogba pleaded with the officials to take a closer look but they refuse to oblige.
Now UEFA have confirmed that they will not open a case over the incident, meaning Rudiger will be available for the second group game against Portugal.
