Billie Eilish sparked backlash after she was photographed wearing a “disturbing” baby costume with her boyfriend, who was seen dressed up as an old man. The singer, 20, appeared to address the large age gap between herself and boyfriend, The Neighbourhood singer Jesse Rutherford, 31.
Outraged fans of the Happier Than Ever singer took to social media today to react to the costumes she and Jesse wore last night at a Halloween bash.
Sandalwoodlove commented: “That Billie Eilish costume is extremely disturbing and I absolutely hate it everytime it crosses my timeline.”
Madeofcinnamonn added: “Billie Eilish and Jessie Rutherford’s matching Halloween costumes is incredibly sick and twisted – especially with their age difference and power imbalance. It’s not funny or chic, its not poking fun, it’s disturbing, and the adults in her life are letting her down once again.”
Meghannaraujoo argued: “Yeah no why are people not seeing the issue… She’s my age dating someone over a decade older than her…

However, other fans defended the singer, explaining that they were both adults and their age gap “isn’t even that big”.
