Strikes continued overnight in the Ukrainian port city of Mykolaiv, after renewed bombardment of energy facilities on Monday.
Four missiles were fired on the southern region overnight, demolishing half an apartment building and killing one citizen.
The body of an elderly woman was recovered from the rubble early on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, a two-storey school was destroyed by the force of the blast.
The school’s deputy director, Irena Siden, 48, said: “This is what the barbarian horde does.
“They (the Russians) are the descendants of the barbarian horde.
“They stole our history and how they are trying to steal our culture.”
